Behind the Scenes: American Shakespeare Center and the modern non-profit theatre
New!

Via meetings with prominent staff of the 30 year old American Shakespeare Center, students will learn how a theatre with a $3.7 million budget functions. The course will begin with recommended attendance at a student matinee and continue with meetings with Artistic staff (including some actors), Administrative staff from Development, Management, and Education. Some meetings will be active and participatory in a "learning by doing" manner; others will be lecture based with Q&A.
