Capturing and Processing Quality Landscape and Nature Photographs *DATES DIFFER FROM CATALOG* See correct dates to the right
*NOTE* This course is now meeting on:
Wednesday, Sept 6 (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m). & Thursday, Sept 7 (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.)
The goal of the course is to help persons interested in landscape and nature photography learn how to improve their skills in capturing and processing quality images. Emphasis will be placed on such important characteristics of strong photographs as composition, balance, lighting, exposure, and sharpness. Information will be provided to help individuals learn to make the choices that maximize the quality of their photographs. Participants will be expected to be thoroughly familiar with their camera equipment and its usage. Digital cameras should be used by participants. Unlike other classes led by Ben Greenberg, there is no field component with the class taking photographs outside the classroom. Both days of classroom instruction will take place in the OLLI Conference Room. Each participant will be asked to bring two or three of their photographs on a flash drive to the second class to use as examples for digital processing instruction.
