Shelli has 13 years of experience working in sales and marketing for retirement communities in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. She spent her childhood in the Midwest, where she was exposed to the hospitality industry in her parents’ motel business. She earned an AAS degree in Hospitality Management in Kansas. This led her to Vero Beach, Florida where she worked in various sales and marketing roles for Walt Disney World Resorts and the Los Angeles Dodgers during spring training. Shelli’s senior living career began after she sustained severe injuries from a car accident in 2001, which put her in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation facility, where she underwent months of therapy. Her experience recovering at that facility is to what she attributes her passion for retirement communities and her genuine understanding of the peace of mind that senior communities provide residents. Shelli took a short hiatus from the senior living sales environment to obtain an ADN in nursing, and she became a Registered Nurse in 2015. She is also a Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia Real Estate Broker.
