This course is for complete beginners and experienced meditators, or anyone in between. We will practice together in a variety of styles, look closely at the nuts and bolts of meditation, fine-tune technique, and discuss whatever questions or issues come up. The goal is for you to complete the course with all you need to begin or deepen your own meditation practice. This is a course emphasizing the spiritual aspects of meditation, not just the health benefits.
Dr. Subagh Khalsa, the author of four popular books on meditation, has been practicing Kundalini Yoga and meditation an average of 2½ hours per day for almost 45 years. In addition to his other extensive teaching experience, he is director and lead teacher of Chautauqua Institution’s Mystic Heart Meditation Program.
Although there are no required materials, books and recordings to help guide practice will be available for purchase.
